Health and Caregiving Information

CarePorch is a caregiver support community. You may choose to share caregiving, family, disability, health, or care-recipient information in your profile, onboarding answers, messages, groups, photos, or videos. Please share only information you are comfortable sharing with the people who can access that space. CarePorch is not a medical provider and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency services.

Your Choices

You can update certain profile information in the app, manage profile photos and additional photos where supported, control community discoverability and direct-message preferences, manage notification settings and quiet hours, leave groups where permitted, block users, and report content. You can also contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or other help with your account information.

Account Deletion and Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide CarePorch, maintain community safety, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and secure our services. When you request account deletion, we will delete or de-identify account information where technically and legally available. Some content, moderation records, logs, backup copies, or records needed for safety, security, legal, or anti-abuse purposes may be retained for a limited period or as required by law.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including encrypted transmission where appropriate and access controls for operational systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

CarePorch is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to CarePorch, please contact us.
